Share a story

1. Click the upper left Look Deeper icon.
2. Choose what you want to share: text, photo, video, audio, link or social media post.
3. Add a caption.
4. Select a main category topic: race, gender, LGBT, or other.
5. Add additional tags if you’d like.
6. Click the “I’m not a robot” box.
7. Submit.

Log in

1. Click on the “person” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Sign in using your email on the left side of the box.
3. Or, click on one of the social media icons to log in using Facebook, Google, Instagram, or Tumblr.
4. Once you’ve logged in, you can add or change your profile pic, age, or gender.

Social media posts

1. When adding a story or comment, select the “link” icon.
2. Paste the embed code for the social media post. For advice on how to find the social media embed code, go here.
3. Add a caption.
4. Click the “I’m not a robot” box.
5. Submit.

View/delete stories

1. Click on the “person” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Click “view all” under “my posts.”
3. Click on a story to view it.
4. To delete a story, click on “delete post” under the “like” icon in the story’s box.

Your profile

1. When logged in, you can find your profile under the “person” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. From there, you can edit your profile by clicking “edit.” You can change your profile pic, age, or gender, and link other accounts.
3. You can also view all your posts, see what’s pending, and delete stories.

Registration

1. Click on the “person” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Register a new account using your email on the right side of the box.
3. Or, click on one of the social media icons to register using Facebook, Google, Instagram, or Tumblr.
4. Once you’ve registered, you can add or change your profile pic, age, or gender.

Comment on a story

1. Choose what you want to share: text, photo, video, audio, link or social media post.
2. Add a comment.
3. Click the “I’m not a robot” box.
4. Submit.

Sort stories

View the most up-to-the-moment popular “trending” stories by clicking on “trending.”
See stories featured by MTV by clicking on “featured.”
To see all stories and search for other topics, click on “all topics.”

Searching

1. Click on “all topics.”
2. Click on “search all topics” in the bottom right.
3. Type in the topic you’re looking for.
